Hi
I have a flat for sale in Torrevieja Costa Blanca. I received an email and lots of details etc from a British couple who would like to swap their village house near Granada for the flat. I am quite interested in what they have to offer. I was wondering if anyone has any experience of a straight swap as it is something I am not sure about. Nether property has tenants or mortgages or anything like that so there would be no money element to the transaction. What would be the tax implications too?
Any info gratefully received

Hello, tax implications is that you have 2 tax for 2 diferent sales, IE, you swap for a value of 200.000 k you have to pay 7% for ITP and approx 3% for regiter and notary.....so a cost of 20.000 k for the swap!
