Well, finally I have all of my paperwork completed at the Spanish Consulate here in Miami,  Florida (Coral Gables). The real challenge was just finding some of the originals they wanted. If you have them all in the beginning, really you can be finished in one visit. Now that I’m done, they are going to send me my new Spanish citizenship paperwork by mail, I take that back to them but, to the second floor where they’ll take my photo and issue me my new Spanish pasaporte.
I’m very happy & excited about this. I also have another post here it starts with the wording ” In process of obtaining Spanish Citizenship” if anyone needs any assistance there is alot of helpful info there, documents you might need etc…
    I highly recommend a website called Cubacityhall.  I had them get me an original marriage license from Cuba & also ( the most important document I needed and possibly some of you might need…my grandfathers citizenship document from Cuba—-this is the one when he left Spain after several years he decided to become a Cuban citizen,,,The Spanish Consulate only wants Originals…& this one I tried every way to get it besides actually going to Cuba. The cuban Interest Section in Wash, D.C. I’m not saying not to use them ( I sent two letters to them w/$20.00 money orders in ea. for the same two documents & I’m still waiting for them !!!!) so—-they are an option,,but, thank God I found a better option. the guy I delt with at the Cuba City hall’s name is Rob, when you e-mail them he’s very prompt w/responding back to you which I liked. Now, that being said they’re not cheap, I paid for those two documents $590.00 U.S.  However, to me it was worth it because I’ve been processing with the Consulate for 1 1/2 years. that’s how long it took me to get that last document—-they retrieved it in under two months..here’s the link——I hope it helps at least someone..good luck to everyone…Dios te bendiga.
