Have we been robbed?
Does anyone know where the owners of this store are?
We, like many others paid deposits (and got receipts from ‘English Bed Linen’) for beds and now no one
answers the phone and there has been a notice on the door for the past few weeks saying, ‘Closed due to
Bereavment’.

Any info/good or bad would be welcome!

Thanks…

ps - is this store still part of the Sr Nicks chain (if so, do you have details of the head offce), or is it as I think, these people
took over the store and never changed the name.

Used them a couple of times. Most recently in April - no probs at all but not aware of “bereavement” situation.

UPDATE - of sorts!

Finally, thankfully we got our money back!
(Hairy ride though, and one I could have done without!)

They reappeared and said, ‘Tommorrow, tomorrow’ etc, but delivery never came.
The shop assistant seemed really embarrased, but I am peed off due to the stress it put me thru.

I will not be recommending them to anyone.

(I have since learned that the guy who owns the English Bed Linen store in San Pedro (on N340), also owns the
La Cala outlet, but seems to have no idea how to keep it running?????
We could not get hold of either store on the phone during the ‘Berevement’ situation and were on the point of making
a special trip to San Pedro, but glad we didn’t as it would have been a hassle.
Even a phone no on the door was a ‘wrong no’ (or the guy who answered said it was. But I have my suspicions!)

Again - Be aware before handing over a deposit!
(I will always tell them it will be ‘COD’ only in future!)
