I am American and lived in Sevilla for about a year on a tourist visa about 2 years ago, and in this time I left and returned on numerous occasions with absolutely no problems.  Spanish customs never even glimpsed at my passport once, just a simple stamp. Now I want to return on a Student Visa…what are the chances that the Consulate will deny my visa, and will they only deny it or will they flag my visa?  I am just wondering if it would be better to just take my chances again and enter on a Tourist Visa?  Any thoughts???
