What does it take to start-up a Childcare/Day Care facility? I am rather new to the topic. But with a baby on the way we have been looking for childcare in the Barcelona area. It is clear that when the Government decided they would stop giving the 2500 Euros for a new baby, everyone decided “well we better have our baby now”. And thus, there is very little to no room in the existing childcare facilities.

Does anyone know if there are any special regulations to opening a day care. I know it will be more regulated than the neighbor lady that used to watch 15 kids at here home in the US. Any advice would be welcome. Also maybe a chance to partner on this as it could be a very profitable venture.
