Hello,

I was hoping someone could help me with my problem.  I am from Honduras, I am a student here in a spain and have a 90 day visa card in my passport.  I was supposed to get a residency card within that 90 days but since things are so slow here i was not able to get an appointment until after my 90 days ran out. My question is, can i leave spain and go home for the holidays and come back without my residency card? my passport says my visa runs out decemeber 20. i have an appointment on january 13.  if i was to leave and come back, will proof that i have an appointment be good enough to get back into the country? Has anyone had this problem before?
