I am currently receiving el paro. I filled out al my forms etc in the office in Ibiza. I am going to England for Christmas and New Year, but I have been given the date 29th Dec to return to sign again. The flights etc are expensive, i was wondering if I could sign on in another office, perhaps mainland where the flights are much cheaper?

I’m not sure if I’m reading this correctly - are you saying that you’re claiming money from the Spanish Government because you don’t have work?  If so, then you should count yourself lucky that you were able to get back to England for Christmas.  I’m here with my daughter and we just couldn’t afford Christmas at all!!!! I was out of work and wasn’t able to claim the paro.

If I’ve read it wrong I apologise and hope that you got things sorted out, because seriously, I wouldn’t have wanted anyone to have the Christmas we had.
