Have just brought a villa in spain and have found out we need to pay a Ebore Tax
can anyone help with what it is and how do we pay it

I don't know what you mean with this Ebore Tax because in Spain doesn't exist a tax with that name.
Is it possible you were talking about IBI? If is that I can advice you in the way to pay it. I work in a financial consulting located in Spain.

If you do mean IBI it is an annual tax to pay for local services. It is based on the valuation (valor catastral) of your property. It is best to pay it on time and avoid a fine. Timing etc depends upon where you live.
