For any of you who have been living in Spain for a while, you will know that jobs here are few and far between, especially in the current economic climate.  Often there is high demand for those jobs which do become available and rates of pay can be much lower than expected making it difficult to earn a living while here in Spain.

For this reason it may be better to consider starting a business and many people often do.  Often this involves opening a bar or restaurant but we all know this is probably not the wisest thing to do as so many of them fail.

If you are looking for an alternative to the traditional options available then maybe you should consider investing in an online business.  AngloINFO offer a variety of websites throughout Spain including the Canaries and Balearics which give information to the local expat communities in your region.

AngloINFO has an exciting franchising programme that helps enterprising people to be their own boss anywhere in the world, running their own successful English-language media business.  AngloINFO are the world?s largest online provider of English-language information, community and services for English speaking expats living outside their home country and existing regional businesses and franchises serve over sixty million pageviews per month.

I’ve heard that, while there’s a decent ad income split between ANGLOinfo and the franchisee for ad revenue generated by the franchisee, that all too often ANGLOinfo will try to move in on the franchisee’s contacts to swing the split the other way. Very uncool business practice if it’s true.
