Hi,

I am looking to generate some posative feedback between expat tradesmen living in Granada Province.

I myself have lived and worked here for the past 2 years now, specialising in design, supply and installation of kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and general associated interior work, having had a background of this in the UK, including a showroom for several years.

I would like to make contact with other tradesmen in all fields of expertise within the province, to share experiences, contacts and work opportunities.

We all know that alot of British “builders” generate bad publicity throughout Spain, but we also know that not everyone should be tarred with the same brush. I for example, stick within the parameters of my own expertise and bring in additional tradesmen for the work I’m not qualified to undertake, working with both British and Spanish tradesmen.

It will also be a good opportunity to share experiences and knowledge of suppliers in the province, where to get the best prices and who has the best products.

So let’s get some dialog going and show other expats that we are around, we can be trusted and share our experiences and stories for all to see.

Heath

Hi Heath,

I’m not currently looking for work, as I am still busy renovating 3 Cave Homes of my own in Cuevas del Campo, but I might be available for short-term projects, and perhaps bigger commitments in the future.

I am experienced in all aspects of Electrical work - Including Solar, Domestic, Industrial, Panel Wiring, Telecoms, Cat5 and Fibre, Sat TV, Appliance Repair and Servicing.

Also Plumbing - Kitchen and Bathroom, Solar Water and Central Heating, Gas Fitting, H&V and Air Conditioning, etc.

And, of course, Cave Renovation!

Obviously I would need to get work signed-off where appropriate,  but I am open to suggestions.

Regards,
Alan.

Rare to get someone who does both electrical an plumbing work.

Have had a look at your website and I love the cave houses. My missus won’t live in one though heh!!

I think I mentioned before that we have some friends at Baza who’ve also got a house here in Castillo de Tajarja. Out of interest, what areas of Granada would you be prepared to travel to, should the opportunity arise?

True!  Rare to get an electrician that does Voice and Data cabling too, but I never avoid a good opportunity, and after a while, one bit of wire looks much like another 😊

I don’t mind traveling anywhere in Granada or neighbouring Provinces for the right job.

I’m not permanently in Spain at the moment, but please keep me in mind.
