First time on the forum but I think I’ll be spending a lot of time here over the next few months. I’m looking at purchasing a property in Spain, and want to know about the mortgage lending situation - are there any experts out there??
I wanted to know - what is the maximum LTV being offered for Spanish mortgages (this being a 2nd property in Spain, while I stay based in the UK, for now)? Lots of information on the web says 70% is the most you can borrow - I wondered if it’s still possible to borrow 80 (or even more)?
What information is needed by the mortgage lenders? Is it more or less the same as the UK?
Also, what rates can you expect to get on Interest-only mortgages at the moment?
