Well, I’m 30 years old and new to this forum—I have been living in Madrid for the past 8 years and I’m originally from the US—New York. My parents and family are all from Spain so the language isn’t a problem for me and I have dual-nationality but, I’m not looking to be anybody’s “translator”, immigration lawyer or “tour guide”. Sorry about that but it’s just not my thing. If you have legal questions, you can ask me of course but don’t bombard me ok? I’m looking to meet “interesting” people—“interesting” as in, you’re not politically correct or overly sensitive/emotional like so many people seem to be in Madrid. As for me, well, let’s just say I know a lot about law (since I’m a lawyer), and I couldn’t care less about the Madrid “tapas bars”. I don’t like tapas or beer in a little cup.

I don’t know what else to say for now: I know Madrid very well, know the laws, study a whole bunch of things on my own, know Spanish history, US history, British history, and I’m looking to meet people who like to do many things or one of these: travel around locally, explore new places, drink beer (I am learning to make my own), etc.

One of the things that can be enjoyable is some of the pubs in Madrid (when they’re not too packed with loud and obnoxious people).

If anyone would like to meet, etc you can send me a message.
