Frank Thomae

Frank & Lissette left Canada in 2014 to travel full-time. For 6 years they “slow travelled” the world, usually staying in one location 1-2 months and using it as a base to explore a region. In all they’ve visited about 50 countries during their travels including a year in Croatia.

After Covid locked them down for 4 months in León (in Northern Spain), they made it back to Canada where they applied for a Spanish non-lucrative Visa. They were accepted – and on the 1st of October 2020 they flew back to Spain to start their new lives as Spanish Residents where they blog on Mapping Spain
